In June, Petco took the lead with 19 emails sent, while Bark Box and Maxbone secured the second position with 15 emails each.
In terms of ads, Petlab Co. stood out by creating 110 new ads during June, followed closely by Petco with 99 new ads. Additionally, Petco utilized the highest number of unique ad copies with a total of 53 in their new ads of this month.
Turning to ad strategy, Petlab Co. prioritized videos over images, utilizing 98 videos and only 12 images in their ads. On the other hand, Petco adopted a balanced approach, using an equal number of 46 images and 46 videos in their ads.
During July, Bark Box took the lead in emails with 20 sent, while Petco followed closely with 17 emails.
As for advertising, the top brand remains unchanged, with Petlab Co. in the first position creating 112 new ads, and Petco in the second position with 90 new ads and the highest number of ad copies (47) among all the brands in the benchmark.
In terms of ad strategy, Petlab Co. solely utilized videos (112), while Petco employed a combination of 51 images and 35 videos.
In August, Petco led the way in emails with 27, while Ren's Pets secured the second position with 16 promotional emails.
Shifting to advertising, Petlab Co. and Petco continued to dominate, creating 106 and 86 new ads respectively this month. Notably, Petlab Co. utilized the highest number of ad copies (64) compared to all the benchmark brands.
Regarding media usage in their new ads, both Petlab Co. and Petco emphasized videos over images. Petlab Co. featured 101 videos alongside a single image, while Petco employed 45 videos in contrast to 33 images.

In the month of May, Ren's Pets maintains its prominent position as the industry leader in emails, delivering a total of 15 of promotional emails. Following closely behind is Petco, with 12 emails.
When it comes to advertisements, Petco takes the lead, creating 82 new ads, accompanied by the highest number of ad copies with a total of 51. Bark Box follows closely with 69 new ads.
In terms of ad strategy, Petco leans towards videos, incorporating 42 videos alongside 34 images. Conversely, Bark Box places a strong emphasis on images with 51 images and only 15 videos.
Since the 3rd week of January, there was a remarquable increase in the number of emails sent by pet brands in anticipation of Valentine's Day. During February, Maxbone was the top sender with 27 emails and in terms of advertisements, Petco was the most prolific with 47 new ads, followed by Pets At Home with 43 and Maxbone with 34. These figures indicate a clear effort from these pet brands to capitalize on the Valentine's Day holiday season.
In April, both Maxbone and Ren's Pets sent the highest number of emails, each sending 17 emails.
As for advertisements, Wilde One sent the most new ads with 81, followed by Pets At Home with 43.
Wilde One prioritizes videos in its ads, with 69 new videos and 11 new images. Pets At Home uses almost equal numbers of videos and images, with 13 new videos and 11 new images in its new ads.
